Spreading kindness through play, education, and community
MISSION
Kind Hearts Community, a non-profit, is dedicated to spreading kindness through play, education, and community integration.
Our mission is to foster inclusive environments in parks where individuals of all ages and abilities can access play and essential life skills.
VISION
Kind Hearts Community envisions transforming public spaces into vibrant learning hubs, where play is the catalyst for personal growth and community connection. We are committed to connecting our communities one park at a time, fostering inclusivity and welcoming everyone to experience the joy of play and the benefits of lifelong learning. Our goal is to create interconnected spaces that unite people, inspire collaboration, and strengthen the fabric of our communities.
MEET JK WILLIS
Meet JK “GM” Willis, the founder of Kind Hearts Community Inc. Recognizing the limitations of parks for those with disabilities, JK dedicated himself to making parks universally accessible.
Driven by the power of kindness and inclusion, he ensures everyone, regardless of ability, feels valued and included through Kind Hearts’ mission, one community at a time.
ONE PARK AT A TIME!
MOZLEY PARK INITIATIVE ATLANTA, GA
Spread Kindness Park initiative at Mozley Park, a historic neighborhood on the west side of Atlanta, represents our mission for inclusive play. Partnering with PlayCore, we’ve designed an inclusive park endorsed by Mayor Dickens and supported by the neighborhood. Collaborating closely with the Mozley Park community and local city council, our efforts have culminated in approved plans after three years of dedication.
Actively pursuing funding goals and seeking partners for the completion of this park by 2024, we’re dedicated to making Mozley Park a shining example of inclusivity, kindness, and community engagement. With your support, together we’ll turn this vision into a reality, ensuring that all individuals have access to a welcoming and accessible play space.

PROGRAM INITIATIVES
STHEMS, an acronym for Science, Technology, Horticulture, Entrepreneurship, Mental Health, and Style, is a holistic after-school initiative crafted to ignite young minds. Our aim is to cultivate a nurturing environment that fosters curiosity and creativity. Guided by mentors, each initiative of STHEMS endeavors to unlock students’ potential, promoting student-led learning and self-expression.
FARMACY SKOOL
Farmacy Skool cultivates earth-conscious youth in urban and minority areas through horticulture education. We empower students in local schools and neighborhoods to tackle food deserts sustainably. With hands-on experiences and community partnerships, we nurture a generation of environmental leaders.
UPSKALE
UpsKale, central to our Style program, fosters creativity and sustainability as students repurpose materials under mentor guidance. Through cut-and-sew, screen printing, and design, they craft unique styles, embodying values of environmental consciousness and personal expression. UpsKale paves a path where fashion merges with sustainability and self-discovery.
IT’S KOOL TO TALK
Kool to Talk prioritizes mental health, offering a safe haven for youth to freely express themselves and understand well-being. Our initiative fosters an inclusive environment, encouraging open dialogue and support without judgment. Through Kool to Talk, we empower young individuals to share their experiences and emotions, promoting belonging and resilience. Our goal is to destigmatize discussions about mental health, making it cool to talk openly and promote awareness.
